4TH GENERATION
The post-war baby boom created a great demand for multi-family housing. Flexicore prestressed hollow core plank supported by precast column and beam systems were a popular choice for construction.
This served as a fire separation between the underground parking and the upper levels of multi-family housing structures. This accounted for over 50% of Molin's business throughout the 1970s and beyond. The baby boom was influencing Molin Concrete in another way as a new generation of Molins were becoming involved with the family business. By now it had become a tradition for family members to start out in lower level positions with the firm to learn first hand about the company operations. Out of this fourth generation of Molins, four cousins would step forward in key positions, eventually becoming part of the new ownership team.

They are:
|
Thomas Molin President/General Manager
son of William C. Molin 1956 -
|
Daniel Molin Vice President/Sales & Marketing
son of Herb Molin Jr. 1959 -
|
Randy Molin Vice President/Facilities Manager
son of John E. Molin 1956 -
|
Robert Flood Vice President/Sales & Marketing
son of Donald Flood 1953 -
|

These four cousins, all great grandsons of John G. Molin the founder, continue the family tradition of leading the company into the future.
