2ND GENERATION
They were:
Alfred Molin (1889-1956)
William J. Molin (1891-1967)
Carl Oscar Molin (1894-1967)
Edward Molin (1896-1970)
Herbert Molin (1900-1982)
From 1915 to the early 1920s, John's five sons entered the business.

These five sons were responsible for much of the company's evolution over their lifetimes. During the 1920s, John and his sons continued as building contractors specializing in masonry and concrete construction. The firm was also involved with some concrete arch bridge construction along Highway 169 north to Mille Lacs as well as the magnificent stone arch bridges in the Phalen Park area. Surviving the years of the Great Depression, the second generation saw the retirement and eventual passing of the family patriarch, John G. Molin. He died in 1940 at the age of 78.

He left his mark as a builder for over 50 years. At the conclusion of WWII, the company reorganized under the name of Molin Concrete Products Company. The five sons led the company into the post-war boom that would follow.
