What excites or inspires you about your work?

What excites me about my work is being able to drive around with my family and point out completed projects. It gives me a great sense of pride knowing that I assisted in the process of creating spaces that bring people and communities together.

What’s something you absolutely cannot do?

I have never been able to whistle loudly with my fingers. I have attempted and failed miserably many times.  If I am in the cities and need a cab, I now just flare my arms around wildly till someone stops.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

When I was a little kid on a hobby farm, I had always dreamed about growing up and becoming a veterinarian for large and exotic animals. Now that I am older, I have settled for raising large dogs, sheep and chickens.
