Hollow Core Planks
Precast and prestressed hollow core concrete planks are a versatile structural floor and roof system for almost any project. It is a precast concrete plank with rows of hollow interior tubes for cost-efficiency, reducing weight while maintaining structural strength. It is manufactured with prestressed steel reinforcements for added strength.
Molin Concrete Products offers two Hollow Core plank types: Flexicore and Extruded.
Hollow core plank is often used with prestressed beams and precast columns. All three work together for total structural stability and design freedom. Precast plank is cast in a controlled environment to ensure consistency and strength. The smooth bottom eliminates the necessity for other ceiling products. The shortened installation time creates project savings, as well as a clean job site.
