Uno Baxter Arena

Molin Concrete Products Company was selected by Kiewit Building Group to design, manufacture and install the precast and prestressed structural concrete products for the main arena bowl at the University of Nebraska Omaha’s (UNO) new Baxter Arena. As the main assembly building on the south area of campus, the arena provides a statement facility of UNO’s athletic brand. The facility was designed to serve multiple activities including a home for UNO’s hockey team as well as the school’s basketball and volleyball programs and has the capacity to host campus recreation activities and graduation ceremonies.

Baxter Arena & Community Center feature:

• A 7,800-seat arena
• Community ice with public access for activities such as open skating and lessons
• Full-size competition ice home to the UNO Mavericks hockey team
